Princess for a Day
My brother, Tom Fergus Arnott (Director) wanted to adapt a scene from Jack Dickson’s play “Princess for a Day” after having watched it being performed in Oran Mor. This was my first project immediately following my graduation from college. It was awarded several accolades across the globe, including the finalist for “Best Short Film” at The Grand Indiewise Convention in Miami Florida. (Editor.)
The Oor Wullie Bucket Trail
Directed by Iain Henderson, The Archie Foundation commissioned our team to create a short film to coincide with the launch of The Oor Wullie Bucket Trail in 2015. This was my first major job as an Edit Assistant. (Edit Assistant)

River City (2016-2020)
My first proper foot in the door was working Night and Day shifts on BBC Scotland’s River City. I was entrusted to Ingest and Log the Camera Footage for the Editors and in time I was entrusted to handle other tasks such as transcribing episodes and even editing Social Media Videos. (Edit Assistant)
Edinburgh Unlocked (2021-2022)
My next major job position was being an Edit Assistant for the first two Seasons of Edinburgh Unlocked. On top of Ingesting and Logging footage, I also had to assemble multiple timelines for the Editing team at a fast turnaround and Data Wrangle between multiple hard drives. During Season 1, I had to travel back and forth between Glasgow and Edinburgh to hand over the Hard Drives too the Online Editors. (Edit Assistant)
